Professor Samer Alatout of the Department of Community & Environmental Sociology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison has been under attack from the David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC), a notorious organization that targets faculty members due to their positions on Palestine/Israel.

This May, DHFC included Professor Alatout on its list of “The Top Ten Jew-Hating and Terror-Promoting Professors.” This was followed by  a Facebook campaign and media coverage that targeted Professor Alatout.

H-PAD has joined The Middle East Studies Association of North America’s Committee on Academic Freedom in their call to Chancellor Blank urging her to support Professor Samer Alatout.
